Support ArtsBusXpress in 2010 |
2009 had been a difficult year for many. ArtsBusXpress has seen a decline in contributions, as many non-profit organizations are struggling to provide critical services. School funding has been cut, and we are hearing from teachers who are taking money out of their own pockets to fund field trips and the transportation needed to get to their destinations.
We need your help now to ensure that San Diego’s school children continue the academic progress our program encourages. We are all concerned about the academic downturn, but everyone can help at some level. It will take a community working together to give our children every opportunity to succeed.

During this time, helping others becomes an integral part of the season. Strangely, it is also the time when we start planning our tax strategies. As we approach the final quarter of this tax year, we understand that donors are looking for ways to benefit their community while ensuring tax benefits for themselves. All donations to ArtsBusXpress will directly help Teachers and the San Diego school children.
The opportunity for our schoolchildren to experience arts, science and cultural venues has a positive and permanent effect on their lives. Research shows that learning experiences by children exposed to the arts contribute to the development of academic skills, including the areas of reading, mathematics and language development. Additionally, a child exposed to the arts and culture at an early age is more likely to become philanthropic as an adult. These children will be our future patrons and performers, choosing careers they never thought possible. Discovering opportunities they never would have known or seen without the assistance of the ArtsBusXpress and its supporters is imperative for the future.
If you are considering a year-end gift to a charitable organization to help with your tax situation, we ask that you consider contributing to ArtsBusXpress, a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
With your support, we can keep sending San Diego school children to the many wonderful venues that San Diego is so fortunate to offer.
Happy Holidays and our Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!
Respectfully,
The Board of ArtsBusXpress
