Patricia Smith wins Bank of America "Local Hero" Award
On October 28th, 2009, Bank of America honored Patricia (Patty) Smith, Founder and Board Member of ArtsBusXpress, with a "Local Hero" Award. Patty was selected out of over 100 nominees for being a champion for causes in her community and inspiring others to get involved.
The Awards ceremony was held at San Diego's New Children's Museum where Patty was given a $5,000 contribution to ArtsBusXpress. Patty graciously accepted the award on behalf of all the children, families, teachers, board members and supporters of ArtsBusXpress. Thank you Bank of America!!!
