Hello Teachers!

Thank you for taking time to visit our website and apply for ABX funding for your Field Trip Xperience.  ArtsBusXpress started in 2002 and is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit with the following mission: enriching student learning one field trip at a time to an approved arts and science venue of your choice.

Once you complete and submit your application, here’s what will happen:

• Application will be reviewed within 48-72 hours of submission.
   

• Email notificationof additional information required, approval or denial will be sent no later than 5 days of submission.
   

• A confirmation voucher will be sent to you confirming the approval amount.
   

• For Virtual Field Trips:

  • ABX copies the venue hosting the Virtual Field Trip Xperience.

  • Teacher and Venue will confirm specific time and date of the Field Trip Xperience subject to availability of staff.

  • The Venue will bill ABX for their fees directly to billing@artsbusxpress.org.
     

• For On-site Field Trips with a Bus:

  • ABX copies the designated transportation provider, district accounting office or both depending on each district’s internal process as well as the destination venue.

  • Transportation provider or district accounting office will send the transportation expense invoice to billing@artsbusxpress.org.
     

• Upon submission of the online field trip report to ABX indicating the field trip was taken along with a brief description of a successful trip, ABX will process the invoice for payment.  This usually occurs within 30 days of the field trip date.

You can start your application anytime and you don’t have to have all the answers at one sitting. Just save it and come back to it when you do. Information needed will include:

District Name, School Name and phone number, Principal Name and email, teacher name, cell and email, venue name, planned date, number of students by class and a brief description of activities prior to and after the Xperience and the benefits to the students.

For field trips with a bus, have the bus provider name, phone, and number of buses required ready.

The application is designed to be easy to use with appropriate dropdown boxes for names of school districts, venue sites, virtual field trip workshops and class grades.
