What is a science communicator? Who can be one? Why are they so important? Your middle school students will learn the important role that science communication, especially via social media, plays in conservation around the world. Students will learn about habitats, biodiversity, and endangered species as they take a virtual guided field trip of the San Diego Zoo and compare San Diego Zoo Global social media posts for tone and purpose.  This is a two part series taught by Zoo Educators.

Everything teachers loved about our Inside Story guided tour, only virtual! You and your students will join our Zoo Educators from the safety of your own homes (or classroom) for a 45-55 minute LIVE, interactive tour of the Zoo.  This tour will include up close viewing of several of our favorite animals and time for Q&A.
