Fleet Science Center
The Fleet Science Center connects people of all ages to the possibilities and power of science to create a better future. The Fleet offers online lessons designed to captivate, engage and keep your kids curious while schooling from home. Students in grades K–8 can explore an array of fields through hands-on activities, including biology, chemistry, engineering, physics and much more.

La Jolla Playhouse
La Jolla Playhouse is where performance art and outreach combine to inspire community identity and imaginative thinking. From innovative youth programs to Tony award-winning musicals and plays, La Jolla Playhouse artists collaborate to advance theatre and inspire the local community. The La Jolla Playhouse seeks to offer creative opportunities for contemporary artists by using theatre as a creative platform for transformative self-expression.

Living Coast Discovery Center
Teachers! We’re offering virtual field trips during our closure to allow your students to experience the wildlife and science programs normally offered at the Living Coast. All programs are Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core State Standards based. Choose from a live animal encounter, pre-recorded field trip, or live Zoom field trip (or all three!)

New Village Arts
New Village Arts produces full seasons of mainstage productions, and has done so for the past 18 years in the City of Carlsbad with award-winning actors, designers and directors. To date, New Village has received over 30 Critics Circle Awards honoring the work done on NVA’s mainstage and regularly receives “Critic’s Choice” designations from leading reviewers. Surrounding these productions, NVA hosts talkback discussions and other supplementary events designed to create conversation and cultivate community.

San Diego Air and Space Museum
The San Diego Air and Space Museum tells the remarkable story of aviation history, unfolding through significant artifacts of air and space technology. Here, students can see artifacts from Charles Lindbergh, Neil Armstrong, Amelia Earhart, the Wright Brothers, and so many other pioneers in space and aviation. At the intersection of science and engineering, the Air and Space Museum celebrates the social and historical implications of technological advancement. Help to inspire future generations of scientists by celebrating the history and technology behind aviation and space flight.

San Diego History Center
The San Diego History Center displays engaging and dynamic exhibits showcasing San Diego’s cultural heritage and regional history as a prominent metropolitan force in the 21st century. As one of the largest historical institutions on the West Coast, the History Center is dedicated to collecting, displaying, and preserving valuable artifacts from San Diego’s dynamic history. All K-12 education programs offered at the San Diego History Center are designed as an extension of classroom learning, customized specifically to each class with trained docents and professional educators.

San Diego Zoo
Home to over 3,700 endangered animal species from a myriad of international habitats, the world-famous San Diego Zoo is a site of education, conservation, and awareness. Students will see acclaimed botanical displays housing over 700,000 plants, along with almost 660 species and subspecies from a variety of countries. Through aviaries, bioclimatic zones, and scenic pathways, the San Diego Zoo showcases rare and unique animal and plant communities in naturalistic environments and close-up encounters. The Zoo is not currently admitting non-householded groups, however in non-COVID times admission to the Zoo is free for San Diego County students on most days throughout the traditional school year.

Walter Munk Foundation for the Oceans
Join us for a variety of Virtual Field Trips to the new educational plaza called THE MAP of the Grand Canyons of La Jolla. Visit the world’s largest LithoMosaic, a 2,500 square foot educational plaza featuring 123 life-sized species found just offshore. Scientific concepts are brought to life to inspire curiosity and stewardship. Choose from a series of ocean-related workshops taught by scientists and experts.
