The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Northwest Arkansas surveyed 10,912 students and 489 teachers at 123 schools on average three weeks after students took a tour of the museum. The objective was to assess their critical thinking skills after spending a day at the museum. Across the board, among all schools, rural schools and high poverty schools, the surveys showed a dramatic increase in critical thinking skills after the field trip. Read more here.
